“In order to know how good you are at something requires exactly the same skills as it does to be good at that thing in the first place, which means — and this is terribly funny — that if you are absolutely no good at something at all, then you lack exactly the skills you need to know that you are absolutely no good at it.”
John Cleese
I absolutely admire John Cleese and baring in mind about what he said I’m still trying to learn new things (technologies in my case).
I’m passionate about spreading free software. Linux in all of its incarnations and lately especially Linux on ARM devices.
In the past I have worked (and still working) with many proprietary technologies like IBM System i (formerly AS/400), IBM AIX, Windows in the area of operating systems. Also many application servers like WebSphere or Weblogic but I still feel that Open Source is the right way to go.
I will try to share some some tips and tricks that have saved me here and there.
